Optimizer on IBM SDE Cloud
A Software Defined Environment (SDE) enables your organization to deliver IT services in the most efficient way possible. It optimizes your compute, storage and networking infrastructure so it can adapt to the type of work required. Shared software management tools dynamically assign and manage workloads, transforming a static IT infrastructure into a workload-aware environment.
In the images below, we illustrate a virtual compute node that we accessed on SDE cloud and the sample data in our dataset. The dataset is a bipartite graph from IBM real applications, consisting of 1,617,898 edges and 138,614 vertices. The computations include: (1) convert the raw data into System G Native Store graph format and persistent it on disk; (2) Load the data on demand and perform collaborative filtering for item recommendation. The result using various graph computing systems and hardware baselines are provided.
